Exactly three years ago our CEO founded Say It With A Smile with the great support of Sheree Willis, one of our wonderful trustees.It is incredible what can be achieved in three years… on 2oth June we were invited to attend the national #DementiaCareAwards at the Hilton Hotels & Resorts (Bankside) alongside Dr Katherine Witter, our Consultant Psychiatrist for our ‘Memory Steps Course’ from Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.It was a wonderful celebration of all the amazing work being done to support people living with dementia and their carers across the UK. Special highlights were seeing the Chelsea Pensioners perform and an inspirational talk from the one and only Angela Rippon.It was an honour to attend the awards in partnership with Dr Katherine as a Finalist for the Outreach Catergory for our innovative Memory Steps Courses.All 500 attendees are heroes for making such a difference to so many people struggling to manage and live with dementia across our nation.
