Welcoming Leavesden Green JMI School & Nursery to ‘The Charity Hub’

Yesterday was the most magical day! Our CEO and Chair of Trustees were delighted to welcome the Head Teacher & four Year 6 children from Leavesden Green JMI School & Nursery into ‘The Charity Hub’ at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
We were blown away by a cheque presented to us by the children, for £647 raised from their Christmas concerts.
The Head Teacher shared “we are incredibly proud of our pupils for recognising the importance of supporting this charity and will support ‘Say It With A Smile’ throughout this year…. The pupils will take part in a range of collaborative projects to bring joy and meaningful connections to families living with dementia.”
This wonderful partnership is so exciting for our charity. The children shared their ideas and personal experiences of dementia within their families.
A spontaneous live performance from the one and only Electric Umbrella for the Year 6 children and Charity staff brought us all an enormous smile and turned The Charity Hub into one big party!
We are so grateful to Leavesden Green School for their generous donation, which will be used to fund our spring and summer trips for our Smile families.
