Two years ago our charity Say it with a Smile made the best decision ever, to join ‘The Charity Hub’ supported by the Lord-lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE CStJ at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden .

- We have quadrupled in size and managed to subsequently support 250 people affected by dementia through our training courses, carers hub, social events and Smile Studio drop-in sessions within Building 6.
- We've delivered 7 ‘Memory Steps Courses’, with key talks from 12 medical and social care specialists.
 - We've provided a Monthly Calendar of events including Bingo & Brunch and recently our fabulous ‘Movie Party’ on Impact Day, supported by a team of amazingly kind and caring Warner Bros. Discovery staff and managed brilliantly by Leah Banner.
- We opened up our ‘Smile Studio’ office as a wellbeing space for carers, those living with dementia and their families every Thursday.

It was wonderful to welcome a team of Deputy Lieutenants to The Charity Hub to talk to all the charities and hear about their inspirational work in the local community.

For charities to continue to grow and expand their outreach it is vital to collaborate together.

This is just the beginning: our Say it with a Smile families and team cannot wait to see where 2026 will take us!
